angela adams

based in portland, maine, angela adams creates original surface designs with organic lines and exciting colorways. beginning her career as a decorative painter, adams sought out new venues for her designs. informed by the strong tradition of textile craft in her home state, she naturally gravitated to the process of hand tufting rugs.

soon adam's artfully tufted rugs were recognized as modern masterpieces. once she conquered the world of floor covering (including a partnership with Shaw Contract Group), adams she expanded into woven textiles, tile, paper products and furniture.
